BNI Melbourne Central chapters provide a positive, supportive, and structured environment for the development and exchange of quality business referrals. We do this by helping you build personal relationships with dozens of other qualified business professionals.

Last year, members of BNI Melbourne Central’s many chapters passed referrals that generated millions of dollars of business for each other. Belonging to BNI is like having an entire sales team representing your business, and in return you are representing their businesses. What goes around comes around. If I help you, you'll help me and we will both benefit as a result.  In BNI, we call it “Givers Gain” and it is the central philosophy that drives the organisation.

Networking requires commitment, we often say it’s called net ’work’ not net ‘sit’ for a reason and our members work hard to help each other. The most successful chapters of BNI are comprised of participants who are sincerely committed to helping one another. They are a high performing team.  As a participant in BNI, you are responsible for complying with the policies and guidelines to assist you success.

What You Should Know

• Being successful in BNI takes commitment, but our ongoing education system will give you all the tools you need to be a great member.
• Members need to arrive on time for the weekly meetings which last for 90 minutes and stay for the entire meeting.  Trust us, it’s worth it.
• Chapters only accept one person from each business specialty.  That makes positions highly sought after and hard to find in the most popular fields.  If you can’t get into a chapter, we will try and assist you find another opportunity.
• You will be held accountable by your fellow chapter team mates to fully participate.   They want to help you be successful and will ensure you know what is expected.
• We can teach you how, but it’s up to you to use the tools and get results.  Membership is not automatic and chapters work hard to ensure the right people are accepted and stay in the chapters. 

Membership Investment
BNI is a business that is committed to your success; as such we have fees associated with joining.  This includes an initial application fee and an annual membership fee.  

Each chapter has weekly meeting charges paid directly to the venue or the chapter - these may include a meal or refreshment, so please advise us if you have dietary requirements when you register to attend. 

All the information you need to make the decision to apply to join is provided at the Chapter meeting and an opportunity to ask successful members all about BNI is provided after the meeting
